Axelle

Founder of Toutazimut and all-terrain guide

Having lived in New Caledonia for over 25 years, I have come to know this territory through my interactions with people, my expeditions, and my work organizing sporting events. This hands-on experience has allowed me to forge strong bonds with the local communities and gain an in-depth understanding of the archipelago.

Whether hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, or driving a 4×4, I’ve explored Grande Terre in all its diversity. These years of immersion have helped me build a trusted local network and gain recognized expertise in outdoor tourism.

Driven by this deep attachment to New Caledonia, I founded Toutazimut to offer sustainable tours and help people discover the archipelago in a different way.

Marie-Claude

hiking guide and trusted partner

Marie-Claude and Axelle met during a hiking guide training course. That encounter gave rise to a sincere friendship, which has grown over the years and is sustained by shared values.

Over time, this bond of trust has evolved into a natural partnership. Today, Marie-Claude supports Toutazimut by offering guided tours of her tribe and hikes in the La Foa region. Deeply rooted in the local community and drawing on her culture and traditions, she offers experiences that are personal, authentic, and deeply memorable—a visit with Marie-Claude never leaves visitors indifferent.
